Fire & Water Music Festival is very excited about their Friends of the Festival event! To show their appreciation to their sponsors, volunteers, and community members for the success of another fabulous Festival, Fire & Water is hosting a free, private concert.

Artists performing at Friends of the Festival are: 

Laurie MacKenzie was born in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada, but relocated to Winnipeg at age 19. He was a guitarist for the popular band, The Guess Who. Before joining The Guess Who, MacKenzie toured and recorded with Laurie MacKenzie and the Bandits and the Laurie MacKenzie Band.

Dan Donahue is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, engineer, and producer from Winnipeg.

Greg Black is one of the most respected and sought-after drummers. He’s toured in Canada, the U.S., and France and is often found applying his trade in the recording studio. Greg has played concerts with such notables as Bo Diddley and Johnny Rivers.

Vaughan Poyser was nominated for 6 years in a row and, in 2000, won “Bass Player Of the Year.”
