The Lac du Bonnet Farmer’s Market

Where they make it, bake it and grow it!

A visit to the Lac du Bonnet isn’t complete without a trip to the Farmer’s Market. One of Manitoba’s largest outdoor markets, you’ll enjoy a morning filled with amazing conversations as you stroll through the market grounds taking in all the vendors. The Lac du Bonnet Farmers’ Market is a gem of a market that features homegrown vegetables, farm-raised meats, homemade foods, and unique handcrafted gifts.

Nothing beats the taste of fresh off the vine produce, and with a variety of produce vendors to choose from, you will find everything from herbs and spices to cucumbers and berries, corn on the cob and pickled delights. The market also features vendors with jams, jellies, honey, and more. The market is also home to many bakers with fresh baked breads, buns, cakes, cookies and other sinfully delicious treats to delight your taste buds.

Our region is also home to many artists and crafters who come together at the market every week. From small trinkets that are perfect for gifts to fantastic furniture that is built to last, you’ll be amazed by the unique handcrafted items, each a labour a love with a story to tell.

Lac du Bonnet Town Dock and Beach

Fun for the Whole Family

The Lac du Bonnet Town Dock and Beach is located on Park Street, just a short walk from our shopping district.

While small, there is no shortage of fun! Enjoy your afternoon swimming, building sandcastles, laying in the sun with a good book, or playing with the kids on one of the play structures.

Enjoy the best of both worlds with ample shallow, calm water for your little ones to splash around while more experienced swimmers take in the deep end and enjoy an afternoon of diving off the dock, or jumping from the floating platform. With your safety in mind, lifeguards are on duty daily.

If swimming isn’t your cup of tea, the dock is an excellent place for shore-side fishing in Lac du Bonnet. You’ll need to grab a spot at the end of the dock and get your line ready to reel in Northers, Small Mouth Bass, or Walleye.
