The Lac du Bonnet Wildlife Ponds is perfect if you’re looking to catch trout. Operated and maintained by the Lac du Bonnet Wildlife Association, this fishing hot spot is a must-see attraction in Lac du Bonnet. Stocked with three species of trout (Rainbow, Brown, and Tiger), it is encouraged to practice catch and release with Brown and Tiger trout, however, if you are craving fish for dinner, try your hand at cooking up some Rainbow Trout.

August is #fishing month! Celebrate with a visit to the Lac du Bonnet Wildlife Ponds!

The Town Dock and Beach is another excellent place to bring your lawn chairs and cast your line. This is the perfect spot to bring the whole family, especially if some members don’t care for fishing. While you work on snagging that trophy worthy fish, the kids can enjoy splashing in the water, building sandcastles, or having fun on the play structure.
